Psychotherapy & Psychological Assessment
for Children, Adolescents, and Adults

My Approach

Welcome! I believe that meaningful change starts with feeling understood, and that a trusting relationship is where that understanding begins.

Whether you are looking for support through a difficult season or seeking answers about how you or your child learns, my aim is to see the whole person: your strengths, your challenges, and the context of your life.

My approach is evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and developmentally informed, drawing on cognitive behavioral principles and attachment theory while tailoring them to your needs and goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, where we work together in the way that best fits your life.

Individual Psychotherapy

Individual therapy offers a supportive, confidential space to work through the challenges that bring you or your child in. Dr. Zukin provides evidence-based psychotherapy for children, teens, and adults, integrating each client's strengths while addressing their specific challenges.

Consultation

Dr. Zukin partners with medical providers, organizations, clinicians, and care teams seeking to deliver more psychologically informed care. She offers a clear, practical lens on understanding assessment findings, responding to developmental and mental health needs, and shaping services that are developmentally and psychologically appropriate.

Family Psychotherapy

Family therapy brings members together to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and navigate challenges as a unit. In a supportive space, Dr. Zukin helps families facing conflict, life transitions, or the stress of a child's emotional, behavioral, or medical needs to ease tension and build healthier patterns of connection.

Psychological Assessment

Comprehensive evaluations clarify how a person thinks, learns, and functions. Testing can help answer questions about attention, learning, cognitive and academic functioning, and social-emotional well-being. It can inform school accommodations and treatment planning. Each evaluation concludes with clear, practical feedback and a written report from Dr. Zukin that translates results into recommendations for families and providers.
